Not a bad little drive. Tech Level: somewhat high

Pros: Small, light, and fast. I bought this to supplement my Acer Aspire One. It does a great job. So far, I haven't had any trouble with it.
Cons: Not the bleeding edge speed of internal burners, but hey its slimline and external.
Other Thoughts: I recommend this one to all those out there that need to supplement...

Pros: Works as the other reviewer stated .I have an Aspire One and I didnt need the power brick.I haven't burned a disc yet but I bought it to load software up on the Aspire.It played a commercial DVD as soon as I put it in.I didn't load the software (Nero) inclded and xp found it in 5 secs.
Cons: None after just one day.

Pros: This is a great little burner. Support for just about every format you could need (minus the latest HD media, of course). Over all, it feels very well built, especially the stand, which I expected to be made out of some flimsy plastic. Drive was recognized just off of one USB port's power, however thats not enough to run a CD or burn anything.
