Pros: It works - what more can you say. Plugged it into an older HP computer, which automatically recognized and configured it.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: With its DDR 266 (PC2100) rating, not much else to do with it. Any computer you need this for is not going to be a speed-demon anyway.

Other Thoughts: I have an older HP and the 2nd memory slot is damaged. This replaced a 256 MB DIM in the first slot. Worked great.

Upgraded memory on a HP Pavillion that was extremely slow. Memory upgrade has it working like a new machine!

Kingston KTC-PR266/512 Memory
 
The Kingston memory functions properly and as advertised however it should be purchased in pairs if you want a gig of ram. When I installed only one stick of Kingston memory and another stick by another manufacturer caused a blue screen of death on my system even though both memory sticks had identical specifications. When I installed 2 Kingston KTC-PR266/512 on the same system, this corrected the error and the PC is now functioning properly. I would highly recommend purchasing 2 sticks of Ki...
