Other Thoughts: Just a clarification for other review readers: a poster below indicated that the N270 is dual core. It is not. The new Atom 330 *is* dual core.
Still, this looks like a very nice machine and I'm considering one.

- Great battery life
- Ultra-portable size
- Keyboard is much better than I anticipated for typing.

Pros: Big drive for a Netbook. 1GB RAM is great, same with 1.6ghz CPU.
Screen is perfect for mobile users; below 10" is too small as resolution will get too bad to use windows
Boot up time without anti-virus program is almost instant (more like 25 seconds)
Keyboard is durable and keys are big enough to actually use; no cramps yet....

Pros: Windows XP fits this machine well.
Portability to the maximum.
Long battery life when running in low power mode.
Top notch screen.
Cool scrolling trackpad.

Pros: * Small
* Quality case construction
* Battery life is good (~4 to 5 hours)
* Minimal crapware (Adobe 8, Skype, InterDVD Player)
* Includes Microsoft Works 9 (and PowerPoint 2007 Viewer)
* Includes a few useful ASUS utilities
* LCD is not as small as I expected--I can read the text quite well
* Both RAM and HS are easily accessible...

Pros: small and really efficient. it's easy to type.
Cons: battery life is not close to 7 hrs. i really disappointed. i got only 4hr 20 min in %100 battery charge. big difference but still better than most of the laptops. requiment to get extra battery or battery station.
