Cheap and Cheerful Wireless Digital After rsearching for several weeks various of the wireless digital devices, I focused on the SMC SMCWAA-B EZ Stream. Looking soley for a device to 'pull' my music (no video, etc) to my living room from my PC, I wanted something inexpensive, compact, WMA (version 9) capable, and able to stream internet radio. Customer support is atrocious The title speaks for itself. Watch out for their lifetime limited warranty, it's good for about a year and a half. I guess that must be the lifetime of some kind of horsefly or something.
Avoid SMC at any expense.

smc wireless adapter music to my ears! I recentley purchased this product on 3/21/06 for $58.00 at micro center in NY and let me tell you what a steal considering that similar units were going for double the price and more. I went home and hooked it up asap and began streaming music from one room to the next. The intstall instructions are light and not for a novice, also the company website is no help. But if your looking to stream music you cant go wrong with this baby..

4/12/06 MicroCenter = $32! The new 802.11g version is now in stock @ $120 - this 802.11b version was marked ~$60 but it rang up $32 so it looks like a fire sale for the old version.
I haven't tried the unit yet so I gave it a 3-star rating as a default.
