Twice the RAM and twice the disk space - duhh. But if you want to slow things down with Windows - buy this one - install windoze - and have the faster box.
Voice recognition is a lot of fun. And this linux package with office, mail, wifi, firefox and free patches and upgrades - means you quit paying after you buy it. But if you choose windows you are just beginning your buying spree.

Easy, Fast, Great Have had the 901 in black for 4 days and have to say that it was worth the wait. Fast, simple interface - boots in 20-25 seconds. Bright screen; Great battery life - surfed for about 5.75 hours before we dropped to under 15%. The only downside whatsoever is the lack of management tools in this version of Linux.
In general, I would highly recommend this PC. Great job - ASUS!!

OK At first I gave it 2 stars, because wireless networking was broken. THIS CAN BE FIXED, by reinstalling the (Linux) OS. To do this, you need a Windows XP box with a DVD drive (that's what the utility needs) and a 2Gig USB drive. Apparently the disk image that is on the restore DVD is newer (or at least less buggy) than the one installed on the Eee PC out of the box.
Now that wireless is working, I'd give it 3 stars (Amazon apparently won't let me change the rating). It's an OK valu...

dissapointed I really wanted to like this PC, but when my Verizon phone modem would not work, I was dissapointed. To make matters worse, the tec support at Asus were a joke. I sure hope they get their act together.
