Just Perfect After doing the research, we decided on this tv because it fit the bill with the 120 refresh rate, the latest technology with 1080p, etc. It arrived this morning and after maybe 10 minutes of careful unpacking and attaching the pedestal to the screen it was up and running.
Our jaws were on the floor at how amazingly beautiful it is. The clarity is stunning and 40 inches turned out to be a good size. Its big enough to appreciate the big game or a blu-ray movie, but not so ostentatio...

Wonderful TV System So like you I looked at many different LCD TVs. Chose the KDL40W4100 because is was one of the few higher end LCDs that fit in my 39 inch cabinet. However it was the 120hz frame rate that won me over. You need to look at two sony system side by side one with 120 and the other with 60. You will see the difference. albeit it is not as dramatic as the split screen simulations that the sales people will show you. brbrAdditionally without the bells and whistles of 1080 Pic HD 160hz your system ...

Great tv. I have done alot of reshearch on this size tv and so far this sony tv has the best picture. However I would invest on a sound system to go along with it because the sound is kind of weak other than that its fantastic very simple to set up easy remote functions simple but effective.

I have everything connected HDMI DishTV HD HR21 PS3 and Onkyo 606 receiver. If anyone is on the fence about this TV climb on over and get one!! brbrYou will NOT be disappointed. ...

Worth the money I narrowed down my choices to the Sony KDL40V4100 and the KDL40W4100 brThe only difference that mattered between the two was that the KDL40W4100 had the 120 Hz motion flow and slightly better contrast ratio. This it turns out is what makes the difference between the two night and day. The W series is more expensive than the V series but not by a lot. It has all the features and bells and whistles that matter and has the best picture and sound for a very reasonable price.

An expensive piece of greatness. i purchased this tv about a week ago after returning the s series and the v series. let me tell you the motionflow 120 hz is incredible. i wouldnt buy a tv without it. it is so ultra smooth and some people say they wouldnt buy it b.c it looks like a digital camera when you have motion flow turned on. well i believe those people dont know what a real television is. it is so smooth. when anything happens there no blur and no juddering. it makes for a fantastic viewing experience. i debated b...

This is a really terrific TV We purchased the TV about 3 weeks ago. The color resolution features and capabilities are top-notch. Even without hooking up surround sound we feel like we are in the movie theatre. The sound is crystal clear. we have hooked up our DVD player withan HDMI cable and the clarity of the DVDs is spectacular. So far there are no negatives to mention. This could be the best TV on the market in its class.

amazing with rabbit ears! Since we live so close to Mt. Wilson where the major stations have broadcast antennas we thought we would try it with a basic Terk rabbit ear antenna and it is just amazing! Gets over 60 digital channels and even the on-air program guide works to give us a list of what is available at listed hours. Set up was a snap and the clarity is stunning. Sound is very good. Our friends who have cable or satellite don't believe that we get this sort of reception and so many channels without paying a mo...

INCREDIBLE ! This TV is absolutely incredible !! The 120hz motion enhancement is well worth the extra cost. Couple this TV with either a Blu Ray player or even the Sony upconverting DVD player and the picture is amazing. brWhat Ive found lacking in other manufacturers units clearly stands out in the SONY W series. Even the menu system isnt that hard to navigate like some other brands and is fast opening and closing. brIve had this unit since July 08 and if there is any complaint its that the price has d...
