My Review of Bravia KDL-46V4100 First of all, I've done tons of researching before settled with this TV. The brands I've considered are Samsung, Toshiba, Mitsubishi and of course Sony. I'll list the reasons why I end up choosing Sony.
1. Picture quality. This set has a jaw dropping HD picture quality, and its BE2 engine does an excellent job processing non-HD signals. The highly rated Samsung's A650 also has excellent picture quality, but have to compromise with its reflective screen. Why deal with reflections when...

Great picture, nice sound, lots of inputs I was interested in purchasing the S series 46 inch Sony Bravia, I finally located a store with a display so I could see it before I made my purchase. Thank God I did! This V series was next to the S series so I could do a side-by-side comparison. The V series had significantly better color depths and saturation and just all around better picture.
The store had an HD movie playing so I could see those differences, but the deciding factor came when the credits rolled up the screen. ...

Great picture, audio. For the price offered by AMZN without the shipping cost and tax, this is a very good deal (1599$).
PROS: a) Both the 1080i input and the non-hd (from my dvd player) pictures look great. b) Audio sounds a lot better than the other LCD TVs. c) Sony's on screen menus are intuitive. d) Has a wide viewing angle. Without any glossy reflection(like the samsung 46a650), I can see this one from my kitchen (even on my well lit living room) e) Didn't feel the lack of ...

Awsome picture, feature and styling Simply amazing TV. Awsome picture without the reflective screen from the Samsungs. HD is stunning and SD also great thats where Sony TVs shine. Sound is among the best in LCD TVs. Lots of features including P&P plus PiP TV Guide Game mode Motionflow 24P true cinema and more. The high gloss piano finish give it an elegant look although I still prefer matte bazels but thats becoming more and more difficult to find. Overall a great TV if you can live without the 120hz marketing scheme.

Awesome!! This is my third Sony Hi Def TV. It blows the other two away and I thought they were good. Perfect picture. I have always bought Sony TVs and I am not disappointed in this one. After much research I picked this tv for its price and features. I have it connected to Directv. I have had cable but for overall quality of signal in hi def Directv is the way to go.

No longer upset I couldn't get 120 MHz I almost bought the 120 MHZ Samsung with 50000 contrast. Thank goodness there was a Sony rep to explain to me how the contrast can be a small item when buying a TV. The MHz is what counts but it was still way beyond my price range then he showed me the46V4100. I am extremly happy with it. The picture quality is amazing and there is no glare as we here there is on the Samsung. I am a huge fan of Samsung but I have to say Sony this time has my vote. What a TV and didnt have to pay the 2000 and so...

Great Picture Replaced a Samsung 30 HDTV with this KDL-46V4100. This is a beautiful TV with lots of features. Have this hooked up to DirecTV and the HD picture is awsome. The SD picture could be better but is still a great picture. Thanks to Circuit Citys ProtectionPlan we got a great deal.

READ BEFORE BUYING ANY SONY LCD I bought this tv and returned it a week later for a samsung. Sonys have a known issue with what is called clouding... An even backlight that makes the screen look cloudy when looking at a dark screen. (The PS3 menu screen and star wars are 2 great examples.) Their are numerous forums on this topic, just type sony lcd cloudy in google and you will get numerous results. (Even if you sub the word samsung in gor the word sony, you still get results listing sony products.) Sony has even admitte...

Terrible Customer Service. Do not order. Less than 3 months after purchasing this TV it broke. It wants to power cycle every 15-20 seconds. Sony customer service can not provide an authorized repair center in my market area that is open past 5PM CST Mon-Fri. Sony wants me to take a vacation day to fix their defective product. I did not purchase their TV Mon-Fri 8AM-5PM CST, why should I have to have it fixed during those hours? Customer service has no more options for me except to write a letter to the review committee. I had to ...
