Great for portraits, macro shots, still lifes. Just by putting the lens on your camera you find new ways of looking at everything. I like to do extreme closeups of everyday objects and with this lens you have so many alternatives. It's really fun to work with. And incredibly easy. I thought at first it would take some time but after about 10 minutes of doing some simple table top shots, I got the hang of it.
The mount provided on this lens fit perfectly on the Sony Alpha A100. You do need to adjust it for exposure, which again...
