Good value I had the $699 samsung for a few weeks before returning it for this sony. The samsung would get out of sync between the video and audio sporadically. brAlso I didnt like the glossy black finish of the samsung which reflected all of the light in my apartment and was distracting. You can't go wrong buying this TV I tried Toshiba and Samsung and was not at all satisfied with their picture quality. It was not natural or too dark or too bright and no natural skin tone. I tried adjusting them and gave up.. I returned and I got this Sony. I cannot be easily satisfied with the picture quality of TVs but.. man... this TV blew me away.. Absolutely stunning picture. It comes default in cinema mode. Change that to Neutral and thats it.. Sound is decent too.. For this $$ there are not a lot of adjustments availab...

GET THIS TV...period I bought this TV for $699 2 weeks ago and it blows me away. Im a gamer and play Call of Duty 4 with PS3 over $5 cheap HDMI and the picture is stunning. Sound is great features great inputs=plentiful picture is stunning. Get it now end of the show.

Great TV for the Price We bought this TV for a bedroom and I wasnt expecting much but boy has it surprised me. I have a 46 XBR 2 Sony that is about 9 months old and I LOVE it but this TV makes me never want to buy a product other than Sony again. The price was right thepicture quality is great and it has all the features that my bigger TV has. I cant tell that the picture is only 720 DPI when watching in HD. I would highly recommend this TV for anyone looking for a smaller room.

Great TV, Even Better Price! This is my second LCD HDTV and it is Amazing. As previous reviewers commented the upgrade to 1080p when hooked to a PS3 is great. Call of Duty 4 becomes even more of a masterpiece not to mention the new Rambo in Blu-Ray! Stunning!! Totally Awesome! I love this TV. there isnt much that I dont like about this tv so well start with that.br The sound quality is always poor on LCDs so one of my major buying points was and audio out. I hooked up a decent set of speakers to it and it sounds greatnow but the TV remote doesnt control the audio out RCAs. IT'S A SONY! I already have a 50 inch Sony that I love in the living room and I was looking for a replacement for an old CRT model. The picture quality is almost as good as a top of the line Samsung which by far has been rated as the best picture. Great TV, so-so delivery I went to look at this TV (and others) at the local Circuit City, and couple of things struck me. First, these TVs will look much larger in your home than in the stores. You need a big room for a big TV, unless maybe you have a dedicated theater room with nothing but AV equipment and a couch. This is not that kind of TV ... but it is a huge step up from your typical CRT (old style) TV.
