Great picture I have the 46 inch XBR4 in my living room and that remains my main TV as it is connected to my home theater setup. Beautiful picture and good sound After spending a lot of time comparing the Samsung ln37a550 and this one I thought that the Samsung and Sony both had excellent picture quality with slightly different strong points. Amazing Movie Motion The 37XBR6 is a great TV for movie buffs. The CineMotion technology on the 37XBR6 creates amazing, life-like motion in movies. Even older movies come to life with this technology. The picture color has a very natural look that doesn't look over-saturated like other TVs. The black level on the TV is amazing. I see details in movies I never saw before with my other HD TV. Also, videogames look great with no lag. A great purchase that I am very happy about.

XBR6 leapfrogs Samsung I had been searching for a large HDTV for some time, and had settled on either the latest Samsung 46 LCD or Panasonic 50 Plasma. Outstanding HDTV - but where is Sony quality these days? This HDTV is outstanding. But, where is the Sony quality these days? Within two days this TV developed a vertical pixel line and that means it is defective - therefore 4 stars instead of 5. Amazon is replacing, but what happened to Sony quality. So close...if only it was a 10-bit TV. Banding is a bummer. If you're looking for a great 37 inch HDTV, there aren't many choices. I found Samsung, Sharp and Sony as the highest rated in this size. Unfortunately all the best technology is only available at 40 inches and up, so you will be making some sacrifices to stay under 40".

Faboulous!!! Looked for a long time for the best LCD and this one I think is it. Must get all the HDMI cables for the best picture possible. And if you can get a Blu-Ray DVD player makes it all worth it!! Have fun

NOT THIS TIME. BOUGHT IT THE DAY IT WAS AVALIBLE. ONE ONLY NEEDS TO LOOK what sony charges for FIVE YEAR IN HOME SEE WHAT SONY CHARGES FOR 5 YEAR WARRANTY.
$ 179.00. I can still remember warrenties that ran in the thousands of dollars.
This now is the STANDERD. From now on tv will be better or worse than XBR6. Enjoy this it doesn't get any better.
