Second evening of viewing, Just upgraded from a returned Samsung HP-T5054 which I had for 30 days. (got a great deal, clearance, closeout etc..) Amazing picture and many upgrades from previous model (HP-T5054). Same price as last years model and better overall. Nice finish and slicker features. Thanks to Samsung for offering a Great 720p panel that is sure to be the next big hit for them. Let everyone spend up for 1080, no visible difference to me. Love the swivel stand....

Superb Picture I didnt feel it was necessary to shell out the extra cash for the 1080p version and Im glad I didnt. This t.v. has an excellent picture...in HD its simply stunning. With an HDMI connection to my cable box it makes the regular channels look much better as well. The sound was my only concern prior to buying this...but after hearing it in the store and hearing it mounted on my wall its perfect. It looks fanatastic and is true performer. Its worth every penny!!!

Very pleased Just purchased after looking at a lot of plasmas and lcds. The picture was sharpest of any, including many expensive 1080p sets. As virtually nothing outside of blu-ray is 1080p and virtually all channels are 720p, there seemed no compelling reason to pay twice as much for 1080p. And I'm very glad I didn't as this set looks great using Dish Network and broadcast HD using an antenna.

Dollar for dollar the best You cant beat picture quality of this TV even with 1080P. Get the best picture setting from C-Net. Even non HD channels look good but HD will blow you away. The tuner unscrambled channels be careful if kids are in room during setup some were adult only.Easy to setup except for sound youll spend 20 minute trying to adj the EQ. I should never have bought it......... because now, I'm going to be spending WAY too much time watching television. I bought this set sight-unseen. Best TV for the money, It keeps dropping in price. I originally bought a 52 Magnavox 1080p LCD $1500 even though the CC sales guy told me not to. Pristine picture except for fast action, great buy!! The picture is fantastic except when there is fast motion then it blurs a bit. One of my buddies commented that its almost too bright. This is still a fantastic buy as I received an additional 10 off the sale price. The resolution of 720P is not a factor for me as I have nothing that produces a higher signal.
