Lots of great features in a small package! This is a great camera for anyone who wants to take great, high resolution pictures, but doesn't want to have to fuss with a lot camera controls to do it. It does give you lots of control if you want it, but it takes great pictures using the auto setting. It also has great zoom capabilities -- 4x optical/4x digital -- so the resolution is great. Finally, I bought it so I wouldn't have to lug my camcorder on vacation. This little guy takes great video on the fly. The video output is in *.mov ...

Pros: simple
good looking
big screen
nice videos
Cons: tricky to handle by one hand (the mass center seems to be far from right side, suprisingly so important for pocket camera)
quite heavy
need have to remove a battery any time u charge it
few mistakes in menu (can't come back to a folder above for example in sounds settings)
string too short

| | | Good camera while it worked I purchased this camera four months ago and loved it until all of a sudden it quit - lens error. Casio charges more than the camera is worth to fix it.

| | | Buyer Beware Research led me to the Casio Z200. I was very impressed with the written capabilites. Image quality is not on par with the Sony 7.1 mp I replaced. Not as focussed and the 28M or wide angle setting overly distorted pictures of buildings etc. However, as I became accustomed to the settings, the lens stopped working - it would not extend and closed only half way. Being only 10 days old, I was frustrated to have to send it back to the manufacturer at my cost while fall colors were happening. Howeve...

| | | Camera wouldn't take pictures. I would've given this a 5, I mean, it's a decent 10 mp wide lense camera for the price. The thing that bugged me though was that after the initial setup, I couldn't take pictures at all, the led lamp on the back kept flashing orange or red and wouldn't allow pictures to be taken. So i emailed casio support, and didn't hear anything from them, and so i sent another, still nothing, and this was about a week of waiting to hear back, so I finally called support and they told me to reset the camera...
