Nice tv for small rooms! I purchased the Samsung LN22A450 after considering many other models in the Samsung lineup (the 19" version of this set as well as the 6 series version). I found that the 19" was still a bit too small for my liking, and the 6 series did not have enough improvements over this model to warrant the $90 increase in cost (the LN22A650 was on sale at a local store for $550). I ended up buying this television for $460 from amazon, and I am very happy with my decision. The tv is a perfect size for my...

Great little tv I agonized over this purchase since there were such mixed reviews. This tv is wonderful. It works perfectly and has a good picture. I don't know what people find wrong with the sound. I guess I don't have discerning ears.

A bit more expected from this I'll preface by saying I'm not a serious A/V person, I'm not up to speed on the latest and greatest technology - just a layman. My old CRT TV died, and I needed a new one. Wanted LCD for the lower power consumption and since nearly all of them are HD ready I wanted that too. From what I read, Samsung has the best LCD panels out there. The image on this one is extremely good, though in my opinion I wouldn't say excellent. At times it seems to blur momentarily. Colors are well represented. The fea...

Absolutely what I expected!!! This TV was definitely what I expected. After messing with the display and sound controls I was able to make it exactly what I wanted it to be plus I have amazing computer speakers that sound great with it. Definitely a great buy!

Great TV Purchased this TV since I also have two other Samsung TVs and I was not disappointed. The picture and sound quality are excellent and the QAM digital tuner picks up HD channels from cable without a box. I would recommend this TV to anyone and am considering purchasing another one for our bedroom.

Great Picture but not true 16:9 This is a fantastic TV. Great picture. Very bright. It needs a tilt stand, however. Additionally, the screen is just slightly shy of a true 16:9 size, so you have to use the "wide" setting to fill the screen. The 16:9 setting results in thin black bars on the top and bottom.

great picture I like the fit of this lcd hd tv for under the counter type kitchen fits if you have an 18 inch space. The picture is outstanding. Many people shy away from 720p tvs but the picture looks as nice as my Toshiba 1080p Regza. I hooked the tv up to my polk audio isonic system for a deeper base sound. The tv audio is not that bad for a kitchen or small bedroom placement. I would also recommend using a quality hdmi cord with the hd box for your picture.

Amazing as a TV or computer monitor I just bought this TV to replace a 19 computer monitor and 19 TV and I have absolutely no complaints. It took less than 5 minutes to hook it up to digital cable HD-DVD player via HDMI and a computer via analog VGA and it looks great from all three sources switches seamlessly between them. The native resolution is 1680 x 1050 so it looks great sitting only inches in front of it. It also found all of the analog and digital Comcast cable channels so you dont need a cable box to get HD content. ...

Great Tv When I needed to upgrade the TV in our kitchen, it had to fit in a cabinet-end box that had been designed for a 20" CRT Sony 10 years ago. I soon learned that few HDTV mfgrs are building HDTVs that are 22 - 23". After a lot of web research and viewing and measuring LCD and plasma TVs in retailers, we agreed that the 22-inch Samsung was the best for us. While it's widely available in many retail outlets and sites, Amazon's price was the best. It was delivered in just a few days and the set has ...
