Absolutely Positively Recommend Samsung makes the BEST LCD TVs and this one is just another perfect example. Loved it the moment I got it home and hooked it up and once I got an HDTV feed for it ... well it just looks absolutely amazing. Awesome Picture Quality, especially for a bright room I spent many hours researching a plethora of LCD HD televisions. I ended up selecting this one after finding it for $1100. First I was searching for a screen that was NOT glossy. I looked at a few Sonys and some higher end Samsungs but they had a glossy screen. I also wanted full 1080p. Value and Technology merge This is where its at . Compared to last years models of LCDs and DLPs . This model has 3x more contrast ration than products last year. The response time is cut by 40 so sports and action programs are amazing. The viewing angle is beyond compare. 178 angle HV. There is a reason why they dont make this in 50 inches. Great TV For A Great Price This TV is a great TV for anyone buying their first HDTV. The picture is very crisp and clear on HD channels. Digital channels look pretty good but not anywhere near HD and analog channels look somewhat pixelated. My XBOX360 looks great on the TV as does my upconverting DVD player. I downgraded to this product and love it Theres really only one thing you need to look at when it comes to HDTV flat screens and that is the response time. Make sure you find a tv with a response time 5 ms. I recently bought the Samsung with the 120 hz but with an 8 ms response time and it was extremely blurry and formed color blocks around action scenes. I downgraded to this tv after talking to someone at a specialty video place who said that HDTV flat screens come down to response time and that is where the true motion quality comes...

Impressive! I bought this unit here for $1299 and have used it for about 2 weeks. Its amazing. The picture is like looking through a window the connections were easy as cake theres no glare colours are very vivid and though Samsung used to be the Yugo of models they now are among the best LCD HDs out there. I highly recommend.

Great TV. Questionable delivery. I've had this TV for about 4 weeks now. I'm using it with an HD cable DVR and a Blu-Ray player. We also use it with our Play Station 2. The picture has been great from all sources. The sound quality is excellent.

Very amazing Samsung is the best First I will tell people that I have Directv and standard definition looked fine to me on this lcd and that wasnt the case on many other lcds ive seen. Another buying factor for me was the Energy Star because thats nice. I was going to get the 32 inch butdecided to go ahead and get the 40 inch model and man am i glad I did. When I got home I test out all the HD Movie stations I have which was Chevy Chase Vegas Vacation which looked amazing lol its almost like having a movie theater in your house...
