Decent video camera, excellent video player As a Digital Video Camera, this item is okay for the price, and out-performs many much more expensive models.
The still camera feature is about what you would expect from a cell phone, though the videocamera camera capability is a bit better, and certainly out-performs any cell-phone, which is a surprise for the price.
I bought it specifically as a video PLAYER, however, and it kicks butt and takes names as a player.

Pros: Good if you know what you're getting into (no optical zoom, will not work well without a light source, etc). Photo quality is actually quite good. Pros: Small light weight, comes with all the needed bits. (cable, battery) Easy to use, both movies and pictures. Excepts 2 gig memory SD cards. Even has some games to play if you are really bored. Shot some test video, very good quality for the price.

Impressive!! The reason why I bought this camera was because it does not have optical zoom. I don't like the zoom lens coming out/in whenever I turn on/off a camera. I am not a professional photographer. I almost never use the optical zoom function. The color of picture is not perfect but it's nice enough for me.
