Great Laptop for Budget-minded businesses Tech Level: high

Pros: This laptop is a performer for the cost. We're currently using this as an Office laptop for general use, (MS Office, Email, Web Surfing) and it's done a great job tackling what we've thrown at it. With more manufacturer's switching to pre-load Vista on their machines, I couldn't have found a better deal for cost and performance.

Pros: Simple and clean design; widescreen is such an upgrade from my old laptop. Fingerprint reader adds to the security Lenovo is known for. XP Pro for a great price; if I ever get Vista it's expandable to 4GB. 3 USB inputs rather than the typical 2. Easy set up.

Pros: It has XP Pro. Nice screen and reasonably light laptop. Works good and the price is right. It's hard to find a GOOD laptop these days at a reasonable price and this one is just that.
Cons: It is Vista Business downgrade -- but be sure you realize that you do NOT get Vista with this laptop. The product key on the bottom says Vista Business but the product key can be used by IBM ...

Lenovo Pentium Dual Core T2330 1.6 Gh Honestly, I haven't had time to do a lot with this computer. But so far, everything is working fine. Connecting to the home network was a little confusing, but accomplished with very little frustration. Tiger Direct was on the money with the delivery and the price was great. So far, a very satisfied customer.

Good value laptop, missing some features, does the I got this laptop because it seemed like a good value and possible desktop replacement for an 80-year-old woman (Mom) and occasional mobile use for Dad. Now and then it could move around the house or travel with them. It will do for that, however, the first thing that is missing is an option for a docking station/port replicator. They will certainly want a full-size keyboard, mouse, and monitor. Not having a docking station will require them to open the laptop to get to the power button, etc...

Pros: It works really nicely and I have had no problems with it, the wifi works really well, it's fast, the screen size is a good size.
It has Windows XP which is better then vista in my opinion the battery life is okay, could be better.
Cons: The Speakers are not very loud.

. This laptop is fantastic. I've had this one for many months now and has been one of my best purchases. With WinXP it's worked flawlessly. Not a single crash and I use a lot of open source software, as well as do a lot of video editing (which it handles VERY well). Nice screen, nice features, AMAZING price, rock solid performance. For $650 you get an amazing amount of computer.

. I ordered to get WinXP and panicked when I saw the Vista label. [Vista home REALLY sucks]. Turns out All labels were wrong; Has a dual processor not single Pentium as on label. Norton was history after about two minutes using Control Panel Remove Product. Took me about 4 hrs to decide which software to keep and dump the rest. It all came out easily. [It took me a YEAR to get Norton out of my last desktop. Ended up reformatting the hard drive] Laptops have poor speakers but these are as good as ...
