Have been running a D-Link DGL-4300 for several years with good results. Needed a replacement with more speed and processing power to handle multi-media, large LAN file transfers and N wireless services.
Tried the D-Link DIR-825, but undocumented MAC address restrictions killed the deal. The router would not accept a non-zero value for the first two characters of the WAN MAC address.

Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?) The WNDR3700 works great. Bypassed the setup wizard because of custom requirements. Have been using wireless for ten years.

Not Ready for Prime Time...at least at this price!
Although it appears to be doing an adequate job of connecting my laptop to the network at my small office, so did a $35 router. All the functions that promote this product as being worth its garganchuan price tag are unusable because Netgear's firmwear isn't ready; this they admitted to me themselves (see below).

Was the long wait for this router worth it?
I have been waiting for this router to come out and it is finally here after the many delays. This router has all the bells and whistles which any gamer or computer tech savvy guy or gal would want. It is fast and has an excellent signal which can be adjusted on both 5ghz and 2.4ghz to save money on the electric bill if you want. There are so many settings you can mess around with, to optimize the performance for your needs. This router is a must for those of us who live in an apartment building...
