I bought the ANT-0400 on sale at Fry's, and found it very good for both desktops with a PCI wireless card and for routers that I had trouble placing. The only drawback is the cable is not long enough, so plan on buying an extension cable or two.
After buying similar antennas and extension cables on ebay, I have found that name brand components was well worth the extra cost (the cheaper ones from ebay never seem to work for me).

Excellent quality for price

Excellent for desktops

It offered no improvement in service.
I broke the antenna off the original wireless unit that I bought from Buy.com. So I searched for a replacement. This D-Link wireless antenna is much larger than the original and it was implied to be better than the original one that mounts on the back of the DI-534 router. It provides the same service in signal strength as the original and takes up a lot more space. D-Link apparently does not offer replacement parts, so this does the job.
