Given this is their "network" version do not think it will work in a datacenter to desktop environment like your standard VMWare or Citrix solutions. It works.
 
nice form factor. standard (two prong) 110V power cord. included ethernet cable is only about 5 feet long. the user interface for server and device configuration does not like to listen to the keyboard for focus management. point and click only. PS2 KB and mouse... I'm sure there are more drawbacsks to that that I will discover as I use it more. Supports a great selection of reasonable display sizes. 8/16/24 bit color is a tradeoff. Running 24 bit color 1280x1024 over my server's wireless networ...

Timing is everything
 
The device works. My timing was apparently bad though. It seems that in June or July MS issued SP3 and there is something in that pack that doesnt play nicely with the L230 software. Further, I tried to install it on a Server 2003 and that was a disaster. The server wouldnt reboot and it took HOURS to get the NComputing software removed. At the end of the day it does what it is supposed to, but beware if you are installing this on an XP SP3 machine OR on a machine that is a member of Domain...

Seems to work as stated. Despite the other reviewers comments, this works very well with optical mice. Video... could be better however it is acceptable. Plans are to outfit the rest of our network with this device. I would hope ncomputing would add a gigabit port though???? How about it where is the gigabit edition?
