No Good.
I bought this printer in March of 2007 hoping to use it's Bluetooth capabilities as well as print out some super photos for scrapbooking. Well, the bluetooth feature required a $50 USB adapter and it didn't print one photo of any quality I would ever use for any purpose. Oh well, at least I still have a printer to print school and work documents right? No. I'd say about 50% of the time I would click "print" it would throw back an "ERROR 5700" code. Excellent multi-purpose printer
I've had this product for nearly two years, and my printer displayed one of the same errors mentioned on this site (the printer said that the ink tank needed to be reinstalled, but it was over 1/2 full of ink still). However, I emailed Canon's customer service to let them know the problem, and they mailed me a new ink cartridge at NO COST with NO QUESTIONS. I didn't even have to provide a serial number! Needless to say, I was impressed.

Printer failed before 2 years passed.
Hello all - just thought people would want to know that after less than 2 years, my Canon MP600 has failed. My computer stopped recognizing it suddenly and it won't reinstall. I have tested a new cable just in case that was the issue. I like Canon products, but you might want to consider an extended warranty if it looks at all affordable. I had no other problems with this printer -- it works great scanning, printing and card reader.

Great Printer!!!
Very nice All-in-One printer for the money!! I have had it for about two years and have not had any problems. This printer is very ink hungry. The onboard ink level indicators will want you changing the ink before necessary (easy to overide).

Will never buy another canon product agian
I have owned this printer approx. 18 months. I use it lightly for home use. It still has the original ink tanks. The other day it said I had a paper jam. There is no paper jam. Canon suggests that I either bring it to a repair center, ( I called they want around $100.00 ) or buy a new printer at a ten percent discount. HA HA HA HA HA
I would recommend staying away from canon products completely.
