Excellent TV
I recommended my friend this product. The clarity was very good. Definitely a better option to go for if you spend your leisure in time n watching TV to have agreat enjoyment.

Waste Of Money
This television is the biggest piece of garbage. I paid 1800 dollars for this hunk of junk. I have only had it for 6 months and it already broke. I realized that there was a long vertical line along the edge. I called Sony and had a repair shop take it. It has been a month and I have yet to get my tv back due to a part that was backordered that has yet to ship. I was lied to by customer support telling me that the part should have been shipped last week but they don't know why. I am calling the ...

Audio problem
I ordered and received this item after Thanksgiving. The white glove delivery was great. The picture is great and all was well for a few weeks. Then the audio went out when viewing from a cable box or Sony Blu-ray player, both with HDMI cables from Amazon. If I change channel, rewind the DVR or pause/rewind the DVD the audio comes right back. There is no pattern for the audio going out. great TV
Like so many other reviewers here I thoroughly researched this purchase. I had narrowed my choices down to several Sony models, but delayed while trying to sort out the "good points" and "bad points" brought up in the various reviews. I now realize that delay was unnecessary. I'm thoroughly satisfied with this W model TV, and I suspect any of the other Sony models would be equally impressive. All and More
Wonderful Picture!! Easy to use remote. Love the TV Guide feature where you can see what is on every station. Love the picture in picture w/ the external attachments. Note I have a VCR/DVD recorder and had been concerned I would not be able to record. All I had to do was buy a cable splitter and have one go to the TV (so get the HD signal and great picture)and the other to the Video/VCR player and I can record and watch TV! The video dvd recording isn't HD as I have an old recorder but at least I don't miss my TV shows! Also had been looking for a TV that would swivel but the big ones don't come with that in LCD. TUrns out the Swivel I had for my old 19inch TV works just fine!
