New eMachine 1810 quit after less than 2 months.
This review is from: eMachines ET1810 2GB 160GB HDD (Personal Computers) I bought the eMachine ET 1810-01 at what I thought was a great price...maybe not. I have had the computer for 49 days and it just quit--it will not turn on. I was quite satisfied with it until then. Okay, well nothing's perfect, but my biggest complaint is the lack of service provided by eMachine. They make it VERY difficult to speak to a human, and the humans you speak to are not able to answer basic qu...

What's great about it: Easy set up and fast as heck, awesome video graphics!
What's not so great: Nothing!
"From the box it was quick to set-up. Took five mins to turn it on and it was ready. Just needed to install the updates and I was completly ready. What's not so great: weak cpu , weak graphics , only vista basic no aero

What's not so great: tech support is pathetic
"Product is fair, but you get stuck with emachines tech support which is far and away the worst in the computer industry. If nothing goes wrong, you'll probably be fine with buying an emachines, but if you have any issues, lots of luck contacting these people. I would NEVER recommend an emachine to anyone, not at any price. Pay a few extra bucks and get an hp. BTW, I am a design engineer for a...
