Mediocrity Serves Its Purpose
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?) There are a few things to know about this hand strap. First, you'll need a camera with an eyelet on the bottom to attach the bottom of this strap to. In the case of a Canon Rebel, this would demand the possession or purchase of an appropriate battery grip. Otherwise, purchasing a third-party hand strap that attaches to where you'd normally screw on a tripod mount would suffice for those w... Great Strap, takes some getting use to.
I got this strap for Christmas because I was always wrapping the neck strap around my hand to take pictures. I have noticed that by having it wresting on your hand rather than in it, you have a lot more control and less shake. This hand strap makes this so much better! I will say though, that it does take some getting use to in your hand. Hand Strap Works!
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?) For some time I've been looking for a way to comfortably (and safely) hand carry my DSLR. Wonderful addition to a pro camera
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?) I hate the neck strap. Always dangling in my way, snagging on the tripod. Do away with it.
The Wrist Strap is great. You need to spend a little time adjusting it, but once you have it right it's great.

Great if you keep your BG on the Camera Body at all times!
This strap has great quality and gives you a great feeling of a secure grip on your camera. Unfortunately it can only be used with the Battery Grip installed ( it's a chore to put on and take off)and I travel with my camera gear in a Pelican 1510 carry-on case that requires I disassemble my equipment into components in order to accomodate all the gear.
If you plan on having the BG on at all times I highly recommend this stap. [Read 's Complete Review for Canon E1 - Hand strap (STRAPE1) at Amazon.com]
