It even announces the name of exits and streets so you never have to take your eyes off the road. In addition, n vi 670 accepts custom POIs, such as school zones and safety cameras and lets you set proximity alerts to warn you of upcoming POIs. It also supports configurable vehicle icons, fun, customized car-shaped icons in a variety of colors that show your position on the map. n vi 670 features a super-bright 4.3" widescreen display for improved map viewing, POI lookup and MP3/audio book playback. This landscape display has white backlight and a touch screen for easy use.Talk about worry-free driving. n vi 670 integrates Bluetooth wireless technology with a built-in microphone and speaker, so you can pair it with your compatible Bluetooth phone. To answer calls, just tap n vi's screen and speak directly into its built-in microphone. Steer clear of traffic with n vi 670's integrated FM TMC traffic receiver. If you need a GPS, buy this model! I bought this device for my wife to replace a Magellan RoadMate 700 that lost its voice capability (this is apparently common). She is a Realtor, but she can't read U.S. maps well (possibly because she is from Moscow). Every time she uses this device, she cannot stop raving about it! She particularly likes its ease of use, small size and weight, 4.3" screen, and accuracy in navigating her through completely unknown areas. You CAN insert 1 stop in your trip, so that helps, but you can't plant a bunch of flags and call it a route. I have a lot of hours of books loaded on the GPS. Put a 4 GB SD card in it (not HDSD) and it works fine. | | | Fantastic! We originally used, and loved, a Garmin StreetPilot c340. We used it for traveling in Europe, where we like to "get up and go" to out-of-the-way places. We decided to get the Nuvi 670 because it is so much smaller, and therefore easier to pack when traveling. This device is great! Besides the obvious mapping ability, the other travel accessories are wonderful. Would buy this again in a heartbeat!
