Finally got it to work with my Mac!   My dad bought it so that we (2 PC's and a Mac) could all share 1 printer (HP OfficeJet 5610). It was easy enough to install it on the PC's, but the Mac was impossible. The documentation was incorrect, the CD was useless and Netgear's technical support was a joke. I called them and was told that it was an Apple problem and I should call Apple. Then I emailed Tech Support and they replied but what they told me did not work. Compatible with most USB Printers   This print server will work with most USB printers. One exception is with the HP Officejet g85 All-In-One printer. Using a High speed USB cable as recommended by HP still will not help. Works fine with my Canon PIXMA iP6000D   It took a little while to figure out the setup. But once I got over that blip, I find that it works fine with my Canon PIXMA iP6000D. Not Compatible with All Printers   It does not work with HP Officejet G85 All-in-one, but it did with the Brother HL-5050 laser and HP P1000 Photosmart printers. Great addition to home network   This works great. Only problem was when setting it up you must turn off the microsoft firewall in order to automatically setup the server. The instructions do not mention this, but it is buried on the help site. Once this was discovered the setup took a couple of minutes for each computer.
