| | | Good, but seems a bit fragile I have been using powerline ethernet for about five years now, because my house is too spread out for the wi-fi router at one end of the house to provide good coverage at the other end. I have four computers (five when my son is home from college), two game machines, and three printers on my home network, using a combination of direct wiring (the computer and printer closest to the router), wireless (using a powerline wireless access point), and powerline ethernet for the remainder. Powerline e...

| | | Amazingly Simple!!! My wife's laptop has a wireless card, and we've been connecting to the internet through my wireless router. We began having difficulties with the wireless set-up, and it became unreliable. I had previously purchased a Powerline setup to get her other computer on the network, so I just purchased another one for her laptop. Plug it in to the house power, connect it to ethernet, and VOILA!! Instant network!! Bundled software is optional, so you don't even have to go through a set-up routine if you ...

| | | Works well, Very easy to use. The XE102 shipped fast. Using it was as easy as plugging it in. I used the bundled software to apply a password for which I had to unplug the unit(s) to get at their numbers. While it doesn't look ugly, I would prefer a slimmer unit. Thanks to this, I could finally move my PC to another room without being at the mercy of my existing WiFi signal or annoying my wife with ethernet cables all over the floors.

| | | Plug it in and it works! This is perhaps the easiest-to-install networking hardware I've used. Plug one unit into the wall power socket and connect an ethernet cord from your router to the unit. Connect a second unit to a wall power socket wherever you want a new ethernet network connection. Connect your ethernet networking equipment (I connected a wireless access point) to the second unit and voila! Network works.
