Deceptive Wording!

Were you fooled by the title of this product? I was. You see, I thought that when I ordered this product I would also be getting the TRAFFIC RECEIVER that is mentioned in the title.

While this particular device is "traffic ready," it does not include the TRAFFIC RECEIVER needed to be able to access traffic information.

Major, Embarrassing Oversight by TomTom

Stay away from this junk.

I received a TomTom One XL for Christmas, which is the discontinued model that the XL 330 S replaced. It worked fine, until I tried to use TomTom's current map guarantee, which allows you to download any newer maps that have been released since the device was loaded at the factory. I could not update to the new map because it is 30 or 40 MB larger than the previous map, requiring a few MB more flash memory than is supplied on the device. So I returned the ...

wonderful wonderful device

i bought this device before 3 weeks because i wanted to buy gps that speaks street and road name.last week i went to atlantic city beach house, i put the address and it took me there without any problem.that area was new for me and i cound't see any restaurant close to that house so i enter mcdonald, pizza hut name in the gps and it shows me a list with phone number. i been there for 2 days so first day gps took me mcdonald and second day i called pizza hut and used home deleivery. hi i bought this excellent peice of GPS after reading many reviews in Cnet and other related websites..after very careful reviewing i bought it from amazon for an amazing price and still the GPS is the excellent peice i have bought so far..my previous one being the magellan.. i am sure TOmTom will upgrade its website to have us all the updated maps as early as 2008..well it doesnt have the MP3 play back option in the unit .. i find many pros while 2 cons.. it doesnt support a SD card slot and it...

The American male's obsession with "the best GPS under $ ---" is probably symptomatic of a depeer malaise (reflecting our feeling of being lost in a world in flux), but from all the reviews I read, it is a massive epidemic.
