Easy setup, excellent performance I've had the BD30 for about a year, so I'll chip in. I tried a Sony before buying the BD30 but the Sony took much longer to load data. The setup was fairly easy using HDMI to a Sony XBR4 flatscreen and a JVC 5.1 surround. I'm using an optical cable for audio to the JVC. One firmware upgrade has been issued and I chose to download the upgrade, burn a CD, and let the player upload from the CD. An alternate method is to connect the unit to a wired internet connection and upgrades are automatic. ...
