Expert Windows User - not impressed with Mac
After watching so many Apple's ADs that downplay Windows/PC, i was expecting Mac to be wonderful when switching over from Windows. I bought the "BlackBook" - a fairly powerful Mac with 250GB HD and 2.4GHz Core2Duo. Also bought the Switching to Mac Missing Manual. As a previous Amiga user and now an expert Windows user/developer, i was not impressed with it. The most irritating part was lack of keyboard controls - you have to use the mouse with this one to carry one task or the other. I am used

perfect blend of size, power, price
This is one of the best computers there is. It's a great blend of size, power, and price. Great operating system and will handle music, graphics, and other "high memory" tasks.When you plug an accessory in, whether a phone or camera, it works. Try that with a PC! This computer makes it easy for me to get my work done. Love it.

MacBook for Traveling
After experiencing Mac's in college and having multiple PC's at home I decided to turn to the Macbook to replace my older PC-based laptops for travel. I HATED being on the road missing a driver or disc or network adapter and just wanted something that worked well, focus on Internet connectivity, playing DVD's & some games to while away the travel hours.This macbook definitely does the trick! Apple MacBook MB403LL/A 13.3-inch Laptop
I consider this a good, if not ideal, laptop which I bought for my student-daughter who thought it was a Mac Air. It's small, but powerful & Apple combines software that seems great for it, but you have to buy work utilities. I've the trial version of iWorks 09, though my I'm having trouble with it & my nonsoftwared mentality. Apple stores schedule free classes for us less computer-literate types. The unbreakable magnetic cord reminds me of my old Compac Presario laptop falling with the plug
