BY FAR THE BEST PENCIL ON THE PLANET!
Whether you are a math student, accountant or puzzle solver, this pencil is the best! This pencil's design was well thought out. The eraser isn't one of these itty bitty things that lasts a day but it's realistic...it's HUGE! The lead doesn't break every two seconds and the pencil is built to last. It's made out of a good, solid plastic...not something that breaks quickly like many mechanical pencils. This is a pencil I've been using for years and hope to use for many more years to come.

yes it may not be perfect, but it is the best.

A long-term performer!
This is the kind of pencil you want to tell other people about. We've had several of these Velcroed in several key spots in our office, with many people using each pencil multiple times each day. We've never had to replace one due to wear or failure. The generous, refillable, twist-up eraser is a big plus in making this an office favorite.

Not so wonderful
I bought 3 of thoses mechpencils from pentel and I have problems with corrosion and lose of the metallic grip due to weakness of the conection between the barrel and the loose grip. The other problems is because the barrel is not tight enough making sometimes the leads fall out of the pencil when you pull it quickly from pocket.

Greatest pencil ever!
Everything about this pencil is just about perfect. The rubberized grip makes it very comfortable to hold. The eraser is excellent. And it is a stylish sleek black. One word of caution: all your friends will ask to borrow this pencil. Hold onto it; they won't give it back once they've laid hands on it.

Probably the best all-around pencil
Having been a mechanical pencil devotee since elementary school, I feel confident in saying that this is probably the superior pencil for all-around use. Its eraser is generous, eraser refills are not expensive, the mechanism is durable, and the overall design is solid. If I had to gripe, I would say three things: (1) the rotating barrel does come off a little easily; (2) the metal pocket clip is solidly attached, but only until the first time it snaps off. After that, it is permanently loosened...

They're far sturdier and smoother than most other cheap-ish mechanical pencils, they don't break the lead as much, and they have a generous eraser. New favorite
These pencils have become my new favorite - everyone at work likes them so much, I have lost my spares to my office mates and need to order more. Best eraser and eraser mechanism of any of the mechanical pencils I have used, plus the pencil mechanism is one of the few that keeps 0.5 lead from easily breaking, and it seems to be pretty durable as well. Quite happy with this item!
