The best of the bunch
This is the third Vonage router that I have had. Definitely the easiest to set up fastest clearest and most versatile. The 4 port switch saved me from buying a separate switch I put my old wireless link away and started using the new setup in about5 minutes. The longest wait was for Vonage to answer so that I could register the new unit. This is a winner. I hope that it hasnt been discontinued for I have a few friends who want to try it.

Stable router--so far
I bought this to replace a Linksys WRT54GP2 that started resetting itself for whatever reason. So far the only quirk Ive noticed with the VWR-VD is that if you reset it all of your settings are lost. It does give you an option to back up the config settings and restore them but when I did that it didnt seem to work. Most likely user error but still something to consider. All in all Im happy with the router so far.

Do not buy.
This is the crappiest wireless router ever. Everytime it loses power it will reset the wireless settings to the default.

Best one yet
This is my third Vonage router. It is the best easy to set up and faultless operation.brIt replaced a wireless router switch and Vonage adapter.

Tech Level: somewhat high
Ownership: 1 month to 1 year
Pros: Easy setup, secure wireless, decent range, wireless is just as fast as hard-wired internet even under heavy load. I have never lost connection. VoIP is as clear as VoIP can be.
Cons: Not a huge range and no draft N, if you lose power you have to reconfigure settings which isn't too big of a deal. You should have this plugged into your battery-backup along w/ your PC (if you have ...

Better than I'd expected
Tech Level: average
Ownership: 1 day to 1 week
Pros: Easy setup, good range, fast connection, good VoIP, no loss of WAP security settings on power-down, doesn't get too hot, no problems connecting to FTP or LAN wirelessly, simple attractive form factor
Cons: Confusing online user interface (but still better than others I've encountered)
Other Thoughts: Using with a Mac G4 and a MacBook. Bought this just two days ago...

generally decent
When it's working it's good - decent wireless connection & Vonage service.
However, when there is a power loss or a cable interruption, the router re-sets or un-sets. I've become pretty good at re-setting the security feature by now. But a power loss causes other electronics I own to require a re-set, so this product is not alone
