After 2.5 weeks of communicating with Vonage and Verizon and getting nowhere I finally surrendered and asked for my old expensive service with Verizon. This thing has significantly compromised the reliability of my network access. Quite often all web accesses are redirected to the Vonage router login web page. If anyone is having this issue, the username is also the password on the Vonage boxes are the same, in all the cases I remember. Anyway, typing the right login information didn't help. Finally a decent Vonage device
 
I have had Vonage for several years and I love it, it generally just works and I can call most of Europe for free. I also have an English phone number so my friends and family can reach me in the US.

One area I have not had good luck in is with their devices. My original Linksys used to crash everytime they tried to upgrade it, they replaced that for free with a motorola device, which unfortunately would not keep its configuration and kept defaulting to open WIFI. Even though it was...
