Good reliable and fast router for the money
I usually don't write reviews as I am lazy but I think the other consumer's review is misleading to many people that consider buying this router. I don't know what is the problem in his case (maybe choosing the same channel with the neighbor or some other strong interference?) but I never experienced any disconnects or other connection issues with this router.
This router is considerably inexpensive compared to other 802.11N routers and ,as expected, it doesn't compare with the >$100 ...

Cheap Wireless N Router with Wireless Access Point
I got this very cheap, but I got it to use as Wireless N Access Point. There are problems with the original firmware but you can fix that by upgrading to the most current one at this time it's 1.10.8. This is very basic N with 12X coverage area, so you're looking at 2 rooms about 150mbps at excellent signal range. The 3rd room would be 120mbps at very good signal. The 2x 2dBi ANT are okay the higher you place this device the better signal you'll get. You don't need to buy additional ANT for it.<...

Great deal, solid performance
Tech Level: somewhat high Ownership: 1 day to 1 week This user purchased this item from Newegg Pros: Price, performance, ease of basic configuration, response of tech support ... and at the $40 I bought it for, a -N router with two antennas was competitive with -G routers with single antennas.
Cons: Doesn't support loopbacking. Web configuration menu makes every command take 10 seconds to change a setting ... except for "r...

Great deal, good performance
Tech Level: high Ownership: 1 month to 1 year This user purchased this item from Newegg Pros: Price - N router for under $40. Has a good range. Good speed - getting up to 130Mbps over wireless connection on first floor and up to 60Mbps on the second floor with router in a basement. Solid connection -- no dropped pockets. Good internet performance. Router is stable - did not have to recycle even once.
Cons: My biggest gripe with t...

Terrible installation - what were they thinking?
Tech Level: somewhat high Ownership: 1 month to 1 year This user purchased this item from Newegg Pros: Price. Cheap N- Router
Cons: I have installed routers of many brands, this one has the worst set up I ever came across. I f you are used to Linksys's or Netgear's automatic configuration (find the ISP settings and get on the Internet within minutes) this one is a pain in the neck. Had to call my ISP and have them help...

PIECE OF JUNK!!!!!!!
Tech Level: high Ownership: 1 week to 1 month This user purchased this item from Newegg Pros: Good target for my sledge hammer (jk). The only Pro is that NewEgg refunded my money. NewEgg = 5 Eggs. TrendNet = -400 Eggs.
Cons: Wireless connection SUCKS! I even have a TrendNet wireless n card! TrendNet's support is the WORST! The only use for this piece of junk is a target for sledge hammer practice.

OpenWRT Linux supports this router, atheros AP81 p
802.11n is not perfect, it is new and still in draft (Beta) form. But this router has a lot of potential for the price.
The router runs Linux 2.6.15 and you can download the GPL firmware and add your own stuff... or you can flash totally open source Linux 2.6.28.5 via OpenWRT project and use the newer Linux ath9k driver on this router!
4MB of FLASH, 32MB of RAM, 400Mhz CPU. It has ar9130 CPU and ar9102 wireless chip.
The case is easy to open, 4 screws... but the vents are on the bottom and ...

Highly recommended
Tech Level: average Ownership: 1 month to 1 year Pros: I bought this to replace an old Netgear G router that was limping along. We have a demanding environment with 4 wired desktops and 4 wireless laptops constantly hitting the router for internet access, file sharing and printer sharing. The computers are a mix of XP, Vista and Windows 98 with an eclectic mix of wireless B, G and N NICs from various manufacturers. This little router handles everything we throw a...

Constant Disconnects
I purchased this product from another website at a steal ($25 w/ fs). I have a Draft N card in my laptop and previously was using a router with only b/g capabilities. Now, I live in an apartment with a 2mbps/2mbps connection so I really didn't need this router for range or speed. But, since it was so cheap I figured if I could get a slight bump in speed/coverage, it'd be worth it. I was wrong. After I got this router working (the router setup menu is ridiculously outdated), it kept disconne...
