Vista is not supported!
My son, a mechanical engineer, got this modem. It had no driver for Vista in the manual and it was suppose to set up a program to access function choices. He was not able to get on line after many calls to tech support. They took his number and never called him back. I talked to tech support only by not giving my number and saying I wanted to wait! Bell South the DSL, provider did not offer much help either since they didn't provide the DSL modem.

Works perfect with AT&T DSL after 5min call to AT&T
Works perfect with my AT&T DSL. Just had to call AT&T to get the internet settings and that's it.

Complicated, But Worth It

Pros: Very detailed user manual (200+ pages, its like a primer on networking.) Highly configurable modem (significantly more setup options than I've ever seen on a device like this.) Very affordable. I actually got through to phone tech support on the first call and resolved a major problem I was having in about 10 minutes.

A solid performer
I bought this modem to replace my Speedstream 5360, which stopped working after four years. Here is what I like about TDM-C400: automatic network detection (AT&T in my case), firewall with every setup option you can think of, over 20Mbps downloads (if your ISP will let you go that fast), 5-year warranty. Highly recommended!

Good product
I was frustrated with it at first thinking it wasn't working but after i let it sit for a few minutes it started working. Tt takes about 2 minutes to connect after reboot or reset after changes..
It has a lot of features most of them nobody would ever use in a dsl modem but still nice to see.. It has the most complete status readout that i have ever seen on a dsl modem. It can also be setup by a beginner using the included cd and usb cable but if your a beginner and plan on using the lan connect...

Good Price and easy to set up
I just installed it yesterday as I changed from Cable to AT&T. I just plugged in all the lines and it works prefect. I also connected it to my wireless router and it works perfect too.
