Works well with it's intended pair
When paired with a wireless N MIMO router WRT160N or WRT150N. It works as expected. It will not increase your range if you are using an older routeraccess point which does not support MIMO technology.

Does not live up to its name!
I got this wireless range extending pc card adapter in hopes of boosting my already weak signal. My internal wireless adapter on my toshiba laptop finds the signal but it is very weak which is why I decided to buy this card. The rangeplus card itself cannot find the signal! Can you believe that??? My three year old laptops internal wireless adapter is a much better performer than this new state of the are MIMO technology. Stay away from this until they figure out how to make it work the wa...

Tech Level: somewhat high Ownership: 1 day to 1 week Pros: It wasn't DOA. May work well with N?
Cons: I bought this card looking for a strong G card with N compatibility for future-proofing, sadly this is not that card. I maintain a large wireless G network with known weak spots and this does not pick up the signal any better than my onboard wireless G. If it works well with N I'd love to hear about it, because it's certain...

Works as intended!
The ease of installation and use were extremely practical! Range is very decent and I have had no drop-outs so far! But Linksys is very good on reliability. Highly recommend.

Works great/easy to use
I use this laptop card to connect to WIFI hotspots and it works better than my Netgear range-plus card. It gives a stronger signal and seems to work better at longer range. Definitely reccommends this card. Price is good too.

Linksys WPC100
Tech Level: high Ownership: 1 month to 1 year Pros: Good sensitivity, at least compared to my previous 5 year old 802.11b-only card. Works great when it works. (see cons.)
Cons: Flaky wireless utility (v 1.0.0) and flaky driver (v. 6.0.3.120). The Linksys connection utility works great for a while, but after a few days, it forgets how to connect to my AP. Something goes wrong in the registry (haven't been ab...

Wireless G PC Card
My husband was able to install this product and we are using it at our home. We do have some issues once in a while with how long it takes to connect but that is workable. We are thankful it works in our location and would recommend it to others.

Decent card
What's great about it: Good range, WPA2, Easy setup, fast speeds
What's not so great: Software creates error messages at times
"This is a good wireless card overall. I have it paired with a Linksys WRT110 wireless router. I never have internet interruptions, the file transfer speeds are good, my signals are always strong. The only problem I have with this card is that you have to install the software to get the card to work. You can't just install a "driver",...

nice product
What's great about it: ease of use
What's not so great: breakable
"this style of cards always has a high chance of breaking on people depending on where the slot for it exists on the computer. I worry mine will break, but so far the card has proven sturdy. This was easy to set up, the software walks you through everything and it makes setting up a wireless network something anybody can do by themselves."
