Does not work with A2DP stereo headphones as advertised
 
Beware- if you are buying this to use with devices supporting the A2DP protocol (stereo headsets such as the Motorola S9-HD), it does NOT support this protocol. Even if you install the WIDCOMM / Broadcom driver stack, which should support A2DP, the dongle itself does not. Oddly, you can sometimes get A2DP-based headsets to work, but only at distances of a few inches.

Doesn't work with Macs and headsets
 
I hoped to use this on Skype with my older Macintosh and a bluetooth headset. Iogear's specifications indicate that you can use this product with Mac 10.3.9 and above and with headsets, **but** while you can use this product on a Mac and I suspect with headsets on a PC, you can't use this device to connect your headset to your Mac. After getting "your bluetooth hardware does not support headsets" in both OS 10.3.9 and 10.4.11, I searched the net and found out there's no fix for this situation....

Very good range!
 
I bought this so that I could listen to music on my bluetooth headset. I only expected to be able to walk around the office while I worked, but to my surprise, I was able to walk almost around my whole house--a 4000 square-foot, two story house!! This worked much better than I expected. I have not tried it with other applications yet, but this purpose, it was very easy to set up, and the quality was very good.

Works Great
 
I got this to use with my bluetooth printer and my laptop computer. Now, whenever I need to print something, I just plug it in and print. My printer is in the basement office, and my computer is usually upstairs in the living room, and I've never had a problem with the signal. It took a little while to set up, but definately worth it.

Great Bliuetooth adapter
 
This adapter works fine to transfer files to Tracfone LG600g phone. Would work well with other devices too. Haven't tried for distance as I have it by tne main computer. The only speedbump is entering the password when pairing devices.
