Pros: Very good reception - am pounding G through foot-thick plaster-over-brick walls and 7' tall cloth-over-wireframe cubicles, and thanks to the long nub antenna these little cards don't bat an eye.

Cons: The EDIMAX wireless utility is actually very good, but it sure hates letting other software do the job.

Pros: A very good product. It was easy to install, and the software is easy to use. It out performs my old card by miles. It gets excellent reception and has yet to have an interuption in signal. My old card never got above good reception and was always loosing signal.

good card for linux access point

Pros: works well with hostapd and the nl80211 driver. The antenae has a long cable and the signal is strong. The price is unbeatable.

Cons: the EW-7128G does NOT come with a low profile bracket -- I think there exists an EW-7128GL ? It is also possible to buy the bracket directly from edimax. send email to sales@edimax.com.
