Card rocks
Tech Level: somewhat high Ownership: 1 week to 1 month Pros: Strong signal, great antenna connected to a long 2-meter cable - put it anywhere. Very fast.
Cons: Permanently installed antenna - not detachable. Must be threaded through the PCI slot opening in the case. Software set-up not as user friendly as some of the home networking toys, but not terrible. Just takes that extra minute to learn and its not a steep learning curve.

Tech Level: somewhat high Ownership: 1 month to 1 year Pros: Great wireless reception and strong radio. Fast throughput. Picks up networks from all over the neighborhood. Good security options and software package. Doesn't seem to take much PC resource. Definitely a network tool, not another home networking toy. Runs 802.11a if the wireless access point or router has it as an option. Can really help out if there are a lot of 802.11b/g wireless netw...

Great Signal
Tech Level: high Ownership: less than 1 day Pros: I don't actually have this but I have used the product. We use them at school with our mobile computers...(CPU, keyboard, mouse, and a projector) In my school we have brick walls the routers was far. Still great signal... No dead zones or anything....
Cons: None that I can think of.
Other Thoughts: I might purchase several for my home.

Tech Level: average Ownership: 1 day to 1 week This user purchased this item from Newegg Pros: Doesn't drop connections, has a mountable external antenna w/ solid base.
Cons: Antenna is hardwired to card. No N support. Could have better range.
Other Thoughts: Using this card to replace a cheap USB adapter in my PC that would frequently disconnect and reconnect, closing all open connections. I still h...

Excellent, and works with FreeBSD
Tech Level: high Ownership: 1 day to 1 week This user purchased this item from Newegg Pros: Easy to set up, easy to install (yeah, the wire is permanently attached, get over it). Very strong signal. Best of all it works with FreeBSD with very little effort.
Cons: Price, but you get what you pay for.
Other Thoughts: Probably works with Linux being an Atheros based card.

It's worth it, trust me - - I'm a gamer...
Tech Level: average Ownership: 1 day to 1 week This user purchased this item from Newegg Pros: Installation was super easy. Plug it in, put the CD in, install by pressing next and next again. As soon as the installation was done, I had "Signal Strength: Excellent" and 54.0 mbps coming from a really BAD router that is 2 floors away from me (200+ foot distance from adapter). I'm happy I've purchased this adapter, that's for ...

Fantastic
Tech Level: somewhat high Ownership: 1 week to 1 month Pros: Tried Netgear, Rosewill, D-link and 2 top Linksys adapters and none could hold a session more than about a half hor without resetting. Had what I knew to be a top-notch Linksys router and began searching for a resolution in earnest. Saw the reviews on this card and went for it. Mon, am I glad I did it. Has been rock steady ever since installation and I am just starting to get over the old jitters waitin...

awesome card, but missing something
Tech Level: somewhat high Ownership: 1 day to 1 week Pros: everything about this card is outstanding!
Cons: lost my low profile bracket that came with it - Could I buy someone's bracket from them that doesn't need the low profile option? I would be forever grateful!! docjay at cox dot net
