Best wireless card
If you're looking for a wireless card that maximizes on signal capture, you won't regret buying Cisco. I bought Linksys, although cheaper, it was a joke, kept cutting off connection all the time. Although Cisco is more expensive, you pay for what you get. It was painful to have to buy another card but I don't regret spending a single dime on this card.

This is a superb card. Period.
I have an older Aironet 350 802.11b card, and decided to upgrade to get the better range and speed that this card offers (not to mention full support for WPA-PSK AES; my 350 only supported WPA-PSK TKIP).
I couldn't be happier. The client utility software has been simplified and made elegantly effective, and the site survey utility (once an option, now included) is a terrific tool for scanning the local environs and identifying Wifi access points. For performance and connection reliab...

Absolute Best/Stable Card There Is
I've tried linksys, netgear, dlink, etc. but nothing competes with this card. I always lose my signal with those other cards but this one always has a solid signal. It's expensive, but well worth the money. It saves lots of frustration.

This thing rocks
Tech Level: high
Ownership: 1 month to 1 year
Pros: This thing RULES! Cracked my WEP in 45 minutes. Got it free from my mom so no cons on price (she was going to throw it away!!!) NetStumbles insanely fast.
Cons: NONE AT ALL!!!
Other Thoughts: This card is great, even for the money, cracks WEP fast if you know what you're doing.

mis advertising
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?) This bus card is offered bundled with an external antenna but it does not accept one. Just to be clear.... you can buy the external antenna with the bus card but there is no way to connect the 2 together.

Superb wifi cards for older notebooks
Tech Level: average
Ownership: less than 1 day
Pros: I have an OLDER Cisco Aironet 802.11b card for my work laptop. Not only is the card great, but the Cisco ACU software lets you do loads more diagnostic work than other cards. Site surveys, link quality tests, scans. I truly crave this a/b/g model.
Cons: Price. You can get a b/g card for 1/3 this price ... but you wouldn't get the quality, and software support. YMMV.

Still waiting on my money back..
The transaction- was great. The card was bad, I had to get a new harddrive-- took me 3 emails to get someone to respond. I sent it back and have yet to receive my money. Would never order from them again.

Best card on the market 5 years ago and today

Pros: I have used many wireless adapters, and this one surpasses them all by far. The range and throughput are amazing on this thing. I regret selling my last one as a package on my other laptop. I am buying it for the 2nd time. No need for devices with antennas when using net stumbler...Well worth the price.
Cons: none than I can think of.

Pros: I have a Aironet 350 802.11b card. I also have built-in wireless and other b/g/n PC card from popular retail manufactures.
I still use my good old scratched up 350 I got about 5 years or so ago. Its give me better range of them all, fast download, web surfing.
Can't have Cisco Quality.
People think Linksys use Cisco Hardware, LOL.
Cons: None. I need new one but $$$
