Not good for Vista 64 gaming
Tech Level: high Ownership: less than 1 day This user purchased this item from Newegg Pros: Once I downloaded the drivers via the link provided, the adapter came on and started working. The RAUI interface is awesome.
Cons: Does not circumvent the Vista 64 wireless lag spike every 20-60 seconds like the D-link DWL-G550 supposedly does. Of course, the G550 is not in stock anywhere, so I settled for a device that's supposed to supp...

Not for Vista
Tech Level: high Ownership: 1 month to 1 year Pros: Bought 4 of these for a variety of purposes. They work fantastically on XP machines. That and the price - if you're running XP, I recommend these highly.
Cons: One of the 4 purchased was DOA. None of them work on any Vista machine I've tried - the drivers are nonexistent or incompatible.
Other Thoughts: Good for XP, worthless for Vista.

Supports WPA2 too
Tech Level: high Ownership: 1 day to 1 week This user purchased this item from Newegg Pros: 1) Despite what Newegg's description says, it does support WPA/WPA2 (the vendor's site also omits this fact though the box list WPA as supported). 2) Scratch resistent case 3) Works without any drama
Cons: 1) Suffers from the a slight pause in traffic every 60 seconds if you use the Windows drivers (...

Awesome
Tech Level: high Ownership: 1 month to 1 year This user purchased this item from Newegg Pros: This works really well. My building has free wi-fi to all the tenants, which means that there is one router for three floors. My apartment sits down and across from the room with the router, and the signal is still strong through the hardwood floor and 3 or 4 plaster walls. I would definitely recommend.
Cons: It comes with a little cap for th...

Tech Level: somewhat high Ownership: 1 month to 1 year This user purchased this item from Newegg Pros: Low cost, easy installation, no interruptions. It does exactly what it is supposed to do. The price was also a plus.
Cons: None yet.

Tech Level: somewhat high Ownership: 1 month to 1 year This user purchased this item from Newegg Pros: This thing worked off the bat for me in Vista and Ubuntu Linux.. Great signal strength considering my router is like 50 feet away..
Get this thing.. great and cheap.
Cons: Does get kinda hot... and you can tell it is made cheaply (but does not really matter unless you start playing with it and break it somehow... just le...

Tech Level: somewhat high Ownership: 1 week to 1 month This user purchased this item from Newegg Pros: Solid build, works well. I didn't use the official software for it, so I can't comment on that. I just let Windows take care of it.
Cons: Having something like this sticking off your laptop is a danger, and the USB extention cord it comes with isn't really good in a portable sense. What I use is this 4 inch long extention...
