Pros: I attached the anenna to my trendnet router and it dramatically increased signal strength for my laptop's wireless card. All rooms get exellent signal strength now. Before i bought the antenna I could not connect to my router from my patio to my condo on the 3rd floor. Now I get good signal strength vertically.

Pros: Actually improved the range of my wireless network (D-Link DI-624 Wireless Router.) Now can use my laptop upstairs or on the far side of the house - not so with stock antenna.
Cons: None - other than unit is somewhat large on my desk.
Other Thoughts: Be sure to remove the internal magnet from the stand.

Pros: Wireless signal went from 25% to 31% using this antenna over the stock antenna on my wireless PCI card. Not much improvement. I got an even bigger antenna from D-Link and was able to then get above 40%. Maybe it doesn't really help much since I am going through a wall. It is pretty cheap though, and it plugged into my card with no adapter...

Pros: I have a trendnet wireless adapter card with a little dinky antenna. Decided to upgrade the antenna since I don't feel like punching holes in my walls and running the cabling. Pros: So far so good. It is quite a bit bigger than you think it is. I plugged it in and have a great signal. I bought this one because my last broke and I needed one with a removeable base.
Cons: None as of today.
