This antenna STINKS
I bought this after reading an advertisement from D-link. They suggested that you can increase your coverage area up to 1600 ft. with this antenna. It was only ~$26 so it seemed like a good buy. Just got it out of the box, and it didn't increase my coverage an INCH! In fact, it seemed that the original antenna might have been slightly better. There was NO documentation in the box, and their web site was no better. I called the technical support line, got an Indian guy who didn't know squat...

I have a DLINK DWL2000AP and a DLINK DWLG800AP range extender. Before I purchased this antenna I could not get a signal upstairs. My Access point is in a closet downstairs. Pros: Cheap antenna, and it does what its supposed to do. It boosted my signal from none-very low all the way up to excellent.

Much Better Reception!
I have a DI-624 wireless router/gateway and have one PC with a DWL-G520 card. Reception on the card was not that great in the location the PC was. After reading a few reviews about the ANT24-400, I decided to purchase it. The reception on the PC has moved from about 20-25% to 90%. Solid signal

Pros: Took a weak, fluctuating signal and made it a solid 4 bar signal. My desktop is located on the floor and the antenna on the Netgear card was hidden behind the desktop. The D-Link had the same connector and was easy to install.
Cons: Not a directional antenna, but still met my requirments for an improved signal.

Works Great on PC but not on Router!
Purchased this antenna and hooked it up to my Dlink router and it made no difference in recepton for my computers at all. I then decided to try hooking it up to the Dlink pci netwok adapter on my computer instead and put original antenna back on router and now all is well. The signal went from low signal to excellent signal on my computer.

d-link 4dBi antenna works very good
my shop is a metal buliding with two small windows so it cut my signel way down till i used this antenna. it went from 50-60% to 90-100%

Excellent quality for price
I lost my old Antenna in a move I made, and finally found an inexpensive replacement here. It was on a heavy discount so I was a bit nervous when I first made the purchase, but I am very pleased with it's performance so far. I have better range and the data transfer rate is much better now than your standard anetenna that comes with most PCI wireless cards from my own experience. Excellent for desktops
This antenna increased the signal strength of my desktop's wireless card by 20 dBm. This is partly due to the gain, and partly due to the ability to place it in a better location than a normal antenna.
For those frustrated with a desktop disconnecting from wireless because the antenna is stuck behind the computer itself, this is a great solution.
It's also aesthetically pleasing, for those who are going to have it prominently displayed on their desk.
