Only 100Mb Ethernet Port?

Tech Level: somewhat high
Ownership: 1 day to 1 week

Pros: Solid Signal 3 floors down.
Easy setup.
Arrived next day with standard shipping.

Cons: 100MB ethernet port. Fine if all you are doing is getting on the internet but not for file transfers between machines.

Other Thoughts: Connected to DLink DI-624 router. Both running wireless 2 feet from each other with no interference.

Seems very fast

Works well after I initially had trouble getting the adapter to contact the router. Pushing the button on front of the router didn't work. Had to type in the password on the back of the router, and since then it's worked fine. Good buy since I could just add it to my exixting wireless g router, and family who still have the old network cards can use that, and I can use the wireless n with my adapter that came with the package.

Exactly what I needed, easy installation

I needed to upgrade my wireless network so that I could use a Media Extender to stream video to my televisions. I have a Linksys Wireless G Gateway now, which combines the modem and router into one unit. I was able to add the wireless N function to my current gateway using this Netgear Wireless N Upgrade package. All I needed to do was plug the new unit into my current gateway and run the configuration CD. It was exactly what I needed and the installation was simple. I haven't had any probl...
