Not up for good faith differences of opinion
This is the first review, good or bad, I have ever written about any product. I have been compelled to write it by the reviews of the whiny, middle-aged, housewives (& husbands) who obviously clean house everyday and think vacuuming is a therapeutic exercise that revolves around soothing, ocean-like noises that lull one into comforting subliminal thought patterns. I concur with all of the reviews ranging from 1-5 stars on this vacuum. It is loud and the exhaust does blow very strong. These "cons" are attributed to the high power that this unit has. It picks up dirt and long hair very well. And since the vacuum head doesn't have a conventional brushroll, it cannot jam with hair. This vacuum is used in an apartment with approximatly 800 sq.ft. with 50/50 carpet and tile floor. It loses one star for the noise...although loud, it is bearable.

constantly cleaning it
In theory, this would be a great little vacuum. I have hard wood floors and was tired of always sweeping, so in between thorough sweeps, I could use this to clean the big, obvious dirt and dust. It kept its charge well, that never seemed to be a problem. The problem became the filter and the part around the filter. It became so dusty and dirty, that after almost every use, I had to take the filter out (which was usually not too dirty) and wash the filmed filter around it. The dust would get in t...

Thoroughly . . .inadequate
This thing couldn't pick up a dust mouse on a bare wood floor . . . Our company uses one, and I would only recommend it to the boss that I can't stand.

Great stick vacuum!!
Yes folks, it is loud, but it delivers! You're not vacumming at night when everyone is sleeping. 12 Amps is the highest current you can buy in a vacuum. Look for the current rating NOT the wattage. That said, this gives powerful suctioning and very lightweight is a definitely plus as well. Love it.
