This is not a flat TV
I purchased this TV thinking it was a flat TV like a LCD Television. It is not that at all. It is actually a CRT TV that measures 23 inches deep. It does have a very nice flat front glass piece, but is is not a flat TV per se'.
Overall I really liked the TV. Great picture for the price.

Amazon sent the wrong product
Amazon sent me the 32F46 not-flat CRT TV. They would not honor the price they advertised for the 32DF46. I didn't want what they sent me.

Toshiba 32DF46 32 Super Great
The Picture and Audio quailty are excellent, and has excellent adjustments for color and audio. Yes it could use more inputs, what TV couldn't, but if you know how! everything VCR and DVD all work with it's inputs perfectly as outlined in the VERY HELPFULL USER MANUAL.
Measurements are accurate, and it fits in the older type Entertainment Centers made for a maximum width of 32 inches as this measures 31.5 Inches. I couldn't be more pleased. My previuos TV was an RCA top of the line HDTV 3...

I cannot believe the gall
I ordered this TV (model 32DF46 as listed here) on 11/8/06. Amazon TWICE delivered the older model (model # 32D46), which I refused (took a total of 3 says off from work to accept delivery, have the wrong model picked up, then await delivery again but refused it on the spot). Then they sent me an email stating that the problem was not going to be resolved easily, but when I checked the website, the model I ordered was still available but at a significantly higher price (can you say "Bait & Switc...

Great value
This was the perfect TV for our needs: It fits the space, is economical, has great picture size and quality, and lots of features. It is a good blend of current digital and CRT technology. Not an LCD and bulky as they come, but once in place it delivers a quality viewing experience.

Don't be fooled by Amazon
They advertise the Toshiba 32DF46 32" Pure Flat, but they will deliver the Toshiba 32D46 32" which is a round tube. I had to send it back twice which took more than a month. They cancelled my order by saying they are correcting the problem, but as you can see they are still trying to bait and switch. No wonder the price is lower than other places.

Great for the price
I had a 31" Hitachi TV for 12 years and the tube began going out. I considered a plasma TV but for the money, I decided to stick with a replacement for my old TV, one that would fit in the same cabinet. What a great picture! And to my surprise, with cheap old-school rabbit ears, I'm able to tune in HD channels in my area. The sound is great as well. I shopped around, and for a little over $400, you can't beat this set. Once it got here, great
Quite pleased with the TV, good picture, no problems, except for shipping.
Shipping company had wrong address, so did not receive TV as soon as possible. Finaly straightened out, received TV. They delivered the TV,
unpacked it and set it on my stand and they woould have hauled the box away, but thought I had better keep it a while.
Could not find another TV of this size with all the features for the price. Yes, a good buy and well satisfied. Richard L., Texas

Great product for the price
At a little over $400 the Toshiba 32DF46 is hard to beat. I was seriously considering a Flat panel or Plasma TV until I started reading the reviews and seeing the prices. It won't be long before the flat panel and plasma TV's far exceed the old technology and come down in price but for now I think the Toshiba is a great deal.

For lack of alternatives
If you're looking for something to:
a)fit in a cabinet too small for a decent size widescreen.
b)be "future-proof" w/ built in HD tuner (even though NOT HD tube).
c)hold you over during TV technology shake out and price drops for a couple of years.
....then I guess this TV is good enough. The picture is just okay. I had a 15 yr old JVC w/ a better picture. The tuner is sooo slow. You better know what you want to watch because ch. surfing on this baby is painful. But for...
