Best HD TV On the market
I've purchased this TV in February, and couldn't be happier. Besides a nice looking frame, it's got an amazing picture quality, and a very good sound quality.
I'm a TV aficionado, so I did a lot of research before getting this one. There is still a little bit of pixelation on the 120mhz models around, but if you compare this set with others, more expensive ones like Sony or Samsung, this one is by far the best one. Quality High Definition for the Economy Price
I've been selling this particular model for about three months and I've been very impressed with how well it has held up against not just constant demo usage but from customer feedback as well.

Not suitable for gaming or 1080p content
As I type these words, I am watching them on this very screen, and I thoroughly regret purchasing this TV.
I got fooled by the specs where they said:
* Flicker Free 1080p - It doesn't really give an acceptable, stable 1080p picture. The picture wobbles and squiggles periodically, making you hold your breath in between these occurrences, hoping it's gone away.
* "typical" 5ms response time - No. If you calibrate it with software or console-games like Guitar Hero...

Phillips Lies about specs!
Phillips own website says that this TV has four speakers but it only has two! I picked this TV because I thought it had four speakers and would have good sound without a surround system.

Too Good For TV?
I'm still playing around with this thing so there may be updates to come. I'm not a technophile and bought this monster mostly because of the upcoming digital transition - my plan is to watch mostly off-air hdtv signals, dvds, and some old video.
And this IS a monster, BTW. At almost 80 lbs it's close to the upper edge of my lifting range. Eventually it'll be permanently mounted to the wall, but meantime I'm holding it up while the female of the species meditates on furniture arran...

Superb LCD TV for the price.
I got this from my local warehouse for a great price. The TV has superb picture quality. Fabulous sound with 30W 2.1 speakers behind the TV.
I have a window in front of the TV and there is no glare on the LCD, which used to be a big problem on my standard CRT tv before.
I hooked it up with a philips dvd player (DVP 5992/37) with 1080 upconversion and the picture and sound are perfect.

Great TV!
I purchased this TV at a local warehouse club when it was on sale. I am very happy with the quality and look of the tv. The picture is great on HD channels through my dish. I haven't tried any blu-ray DVD's yet, but I'm sure it will be only better than the dish signal. The tv looks good hanging on the wall and is visually appealing.

The best value for the size and quality
This is a really good TV. It looks and sounds great. Connection is easy. We installed it with a wall rack that fit no problem. I waited 15 years to upgrade my TV but I wanted a good one that was reasonably priced. This is the one.

Great HDTV LCD for the Price-Great Value
Great HDTV LCD for the Price; I couldn't find a better value product for the size I wanted (47"). I have MAINLY complements about the TV. Some of the active controls for the picture quality need to be turned off in order to get the best picture quality, in my opinion. Read CNET review for details. My only complaint is that the sound system is weak (speakers on back of set), but adequate. I bought (10-15-08) the TV Buy.com for $1099 including free shipping.
