Worth the investment
This unit makes it extremely easy to change vehicles with your Garmin! Contours to any dash and does not budge once you put it down. I was amazed. Fits into the storage area in most vehcles. No window circle. I love it.

It does fit the nuvi 650....and appears to work well
I have just picked up one bean bag for the nuvi 650 and the c550 as I own both units. The bean bag does fit both units. On the 650 you must use the attachment that comes with the 650. That square holder with the socket joint on it. It does work unless there are 2 types of bean bags. I do think its pricy for what you get....But when you spend the type of money for these units you do not want them falling off the windshield as happens when the tempeture changs on the windshild.

no more window rings!!!
This is great if you use your GPS in different cars andbruse the suction cup on the windshield. You just plop it on your dash snap on your GPS and you set - no more window rings! It is secure & doesnt slide all over however you need a wide dashboard.

Excellent Product
Bean bag mount stays securely in place easy to mount GPS onto and remove from and provides for quick and easy relocation of GPS to an out of sight location when parking. Easily transferred between vehicles.

Excellent solution for using my NUVI 350 in my Prius and other car
My Prius has a rough dashboard and a windshield that slopes very sharply. Thus, the suction cup mounts are not a good solution. Fortunately, the friction mount is a great solution. It works much better than I expected. Very stable, does not slide, and lets me adjust my Nuvi 350 to a variety of angles. I can place the GPS anywhere on the dash or even on the center console. Also works great when transferred to my wife's Ford. Only downside to the device is that it has a rather large footprint,...

Finally, the right mounting solution
I have become addicted to my Garmin Nuvi 660 and used it for six months with a successful windshield mount. But now I have bought a new car. I discovered that the windshield suction mount left an ugly black ring on the window of my old car. (I assume I can get this cleaned up when I detail the car for selling.)
So no way was I going to put one of those on my beautiful new car. I tried the Garmin dashboard mount but shied away from the "permanent" disc. I found the "temporary" disc ...

Nuvi 360 Owner
I picked this up as the window suction cup kept falling off. It sits nicely on the corner of the dash on the drivers side. Rides firmly and does not move or bounce around. It transfers from car to car. Best way Ive found to use my GPS.

Stable,doesn't slide. Difficult to dismount to put unit in purse.
The bean bag holds the Garmin right where you put it. The bag does not slide around the dash at all. It is convenient because it doesnt stop me from using the compartment on the dash. I find it very hard to disconnect the Garmin from the bean bag postwhen I want to put the Garmin in my purse. It comes off the round ball yet leaves the mounting piece on the unit. Highly Recommended
Much better than the suction cup mount. I just set it on my floor board out of site when parked. No theives see suction cup marks on my windshield and I can place it anywhere on the dash which helps avoid reflections from the sun at dusk.
