Excellent, Compact Combination Unit
I ordered this Toshiba TV/DVD/VCR combination to replace an ancient TV in my bedroom, and give it very high marks overall.
First, the basics: this unit has a VCR as well as a DVD player mounted on the lower half of the front; the unit is fairly compact, but still relatively deep; all told it is an excellent size for a bedroom or study. The screen has great color definition and contrast, and the VCR and DVD players work flawlessly. The VCR can make copies of DVDs, but not vice versa...

Perfect combination of Size and Features in a combo TV/DVD/VCR
I went looking for a TV/DVD/VCR combo unit as a Anniversary gift for my wife's parents. This was to replace an old Emerson that was long past its useful life. The problem was that they are almost no units available that combine a small size (under 17 inches) and includes both a DVD and VCR. Toshiba MW14F52 TV VCR/DVD Combo
After several bad experiences with 13"TV VCR combos, but still needing a small unit I finally came across the Toshiba MW14F52. It not only has the VCR, but the added advantage of a DVD player as well. It has an excellent picture, and very good sound for such a small unit. It is a
very high quality product. I have only had it a little over a month, but I fully expect it will prove to be as good over time as it now seems.
My only possible complaint is that the DVD player only plays DVD...

A Fine Bedroom TV
I rate it five stars but only within its category, as a small-screen set about six feet from our bed. It fits our space well, has decent sound, and can play tapes and dvd's. It is ideal for our situation.
