Toshiba MD20F52
Okay, so I've only had this television for a few weeks now, but it really seems great so far. The picture is very superior to my much larger (39") tv, and it sounds great. I've stuck a number of DVDs in it, from various commercial sources, as well as some homemade ones, and they all play - in fact, I haven't found a format among any of my discs yet that it will not accomodate. Great Buy for the Money
It's wonderful, but it ain't HD.
This unit is easy to set up, simple to operate, has a flawless DVD engine (plays anything) and is great for small spaces.
Your hesitation might be the fact that it is not HD or HD-compatible. Well, good point, but you're not paying an arm and a leg for it, either.
I've not regretted it...

Fast Delivery
The product is fine. I learned from Amazon product info and customer reviews which company specialized in tv/dvd combos and which one to buy. Delivery was made extremely promptly to my vacation home in the remote Upper Peninsula of Michigan (zip 49781) and I could track the package as it made its way to me. Excellent Product; Highly Recommend
I have had the TV for a couple of months and am impressed with all its features. It is one of the best tvs I have ever owned. Hard to believe how inexpensive it was. Highly recommend.

Solid Performer
I have had several Toshiba TVs that have lasted a long time and always have a sharp picture. This one is excellent as well. One other ability Toshiba's all seem to have--they tune in stations sharper than most TVs. This was a resonably low-cost TV/DVD player but it performs like more expensive models. I have not ever seen a 'cheap' Toshiba product designed to SELL but not work well. Feel safe buying this TV.

Just what I wanted
I am not a techie, just your average consumer, I am very pleased with the item. It was delivered home in its box, there was no damage to the box or to the unit itself.
The picture quality is great, sharp, I love the colors, the size is perfect for my bedroom, the remote easy to operate, DVD works great.
Overall a great item, easy to purchase and super easy to use and enjoy.

Broken Four times
I have had this TV for about 2 years now, after about 6 months the tv just shut off, so i turned it back on it then again shut off and eventually would not turn on. I called Toshiba and they had me bring it to get repaired after doing so the tv worked for about 2 weeks. I called Toshiba agian and then had me bring it back to get repaired. The Price is Right
We are enjoying our new television very much--for the price, it can't be beat. We found at first, though, that the default color settings weren't quite right and it took us a while to fine tune them. Now the color is fantastic. I agree with another reviewer who was a bit surprised by how deep it is, but the picture quality is great and it's perfect for what we wanted -- a bedroom TV. First, then Early Impressions
Does what it says and, for the price, is the best TV I have purchased. Cable, TiVo, DVD, Music have all worked flawlessly, and the first remote code to try on the TiVo remote gives me great functionality, except for controlling DVD menus and sleep.
Packaging protected the TV well and it arrived without a scratch. Set-up was simple and straightforward and I did it once and all remains well. Remote better than many, not the best but functional and responsive with no delays.
