I bought another TV from a retailer last year, a better known brand, and frankly never liked the quality of the picture. It was also having issues with my cable system for some reason.

great deal for a LCD-DVD combo

I bought the Sansui 32-inch dvd combo because it seemed to have the best specs and price among the limited choices on Amazon. So far I'm quite pleased--the picture quality is great, the integration of the DVD player is adequate if a little clunky. My only complaint is that the TV doesn't seem to maintain the default display type that I prefer--"natural", which presumably will display the picture without stretching or distorting it. Very hesitant to purchase a brand I did not know but glad I did. This product is wonderful and much more than I expected for video and audio quality. The service and delivery were exceptional and received before shipment due date. Will buy this brand name again when the other sets need replacing.
